0. Physarium reporting law (mandatory)
Every claim that quotes a Physarium kill-percentage, PPL delta, MMLU delta, or sparsity number MUST travel with the reconcile insert below and a stated denominator. Two distinct experiments exist (organic surgery vs lm-eval) — never mix.
Physarium-v1 numbers must be read through reports/PHYSARIUM_RESULTS_RECONCILE.md:
two different experiments, v1 is magnitude-flow (not activation-aware),
tile coverage of target proj tensors is 100 %
(audit: reports/PHYSARIUM_COVERAGE_AUDIT.md), and every kill-% must
state its denominator (target proj weights vs full model weights).
Physarium-v1= static magnitude-flow surgery, tile-local. Allowed in
current claims if denominator is stated.
Physarium-v2= activation-aware flow:
importance(w) = act_norm × stability × contribution(w → output). Future research line; do not claim v2 results unless physarum_block actually consumes activations.
1. Top brain
Physarium-7B.
Not original Qwen7B as a product.
Original Qwen7B is acceptable only as donor tissue for the operation.
2. Lower organs
NOT a single 0.5B.
At least 5 Physarium-0.5B organs:

optional:
phys05_rendererphys05_cache_matcherphys05_critic_lite
3. Memory spine
- raw archive /
vol:Lexact recall - micro-scrolls
- DAG
- hologram forms
- topological memory
- anti-hallucination source / test / proof gate
4. Physarium
Must flow through the entire architecture:
- weights
- organs
- routes
- DAG
- holograms
- memory retrieval
- tiering policy
Signals:
food = test_pass + source_used + hologram_reuse + replay_success + low_latency
poison = verifier_fail + missing_source + false_cache_hit + hallucination_risk + high_latency
energy = tokens + latency + RAM + VRAM + SSD reads + model_calls
5. Runtime
Native C++/CUDA.
Python only for:
- offline conversion
- forensic
- reports
- dataset generation
Python forbidden in hot path.
6. Storage tiers
VRAM: active top-brain chunks, hottest organs, CUDA kernels, KV/cache
RAM: warm 0.5B organs, pinned staging, indexes, physarium heat
SSD: cold organs, raw archive, holograms, DAG history, packs
7. Existing work MUST be reused
